What’s Included
Complimentary Consultation.
All initial appointments include a complimentary consultation prior to the procedure to discuss any questions you may have and goals for the procedure. We also welcome complimentary consultations- even if you’re not ready to book a service quite yet - for those who have any further questions, concerns, inquiries, or for anyone with previous work done to their lips.
Design + Shaping.
Color is determined upon clients desired healed results and on skin undertone, most clients bring in their favorite lipstick for this part! For clients with dark lips or hyperpigmentation, neutralization is always the first step in color determination. Concealer is then used to outline the natural shape of the lips, only outlining around lip skin and vermilion borders.
After discussing your aesthetic goals, arriving at a perfect color and shape, and prepping, we use our expertise to perfect your lips by inserting a natural-looking pigment into your lips using small needles. This is done in multiple layers to help create an even tone. Our numbing process beforehand ensures you’ll be as comfortable as possible throughout.
Lip Perfection.
To maintain your beauty investment, you’ll receive thorough post-care instructions and follow-up communication for touch-ups as needed.

Lip blushing is done with the use of a permanent makeup machine similar to a tattoo machine.
Since the lip skin is softer and more delicate compared to the rest of the face, lip blushing requires more passes to get to the desired color or shade.
-
Lips will be heavily swollen, puffy and very bright in color immediately after lip blushing. After a day or two you will start to see the lips go down in size and color will lighten drastically over the course of healing.
-
Yes! Lip filler and lip blushing go hand-in-hand for beautiful healed results. However, lip filler and lip blushing appointments should always be no less than 4 weeks apart from each other!
It’s important to determine if you’d like to get lip filler or lip blush done first. Dissolving filler after lip blushing has been performed, can result in the tattoo not aligning with the natural shape of the lips, this is because lip injections alter the shape and size of the lips.
-
Due to the nature of the lip tissue, lip blushing is more sensitive than other procedures. However, strong numbing topicals are applied before and during the entirety of the service!
-
Yes, lip blush is possible even on deeply wrinkled lips.
Lip blush can be done if you have scars on your lips, but not all scars heal the same and can sometimes reject the tattoo.
Lip blushing is not recommended for clients that scar or keloid easily in the lips/face.
-
Lip neutralization is the same process as lip blushing but it’s for clients with darker pigmented lips and/or hyperpigmentation. This is only performed in the dark areas in the lips as needed, therefore mapping is not included in these appointments. Once lips are neutralized, the lips will be mapped and shaped accordingly.
-
Lip skin holds onto tattooed color very well, results can last 2 to 3 years after secondary touch up.
Usually clients will notice long lasting results after the secondary touch up is completed. Lips will remain softer and lighter in color after healed, and they continue to get lighter as time goes on. Yearly touch ups are always recommended to keep the tattoo fresh.

Recommended viral medications are L-lysine, Valtrex, Zovirax, and Famvir. This medication is taken 5 days BEFORE the lip blushing procedure at 3x a day, continuing five days AFTER the procedure at 3x a day to prevent potential cold sore breakouts.
